On February 7—the first workday after the Spring Festival—following the requirements of the provincial and municipal authorities, all enterprises resuming operations were instructed to organize a “First Lesson on Work Safety,” led by the company’s top executives and attended by all employees, in order to smoothly promote stable employment and resumption of work. To ensure that this “First Lesson on Work Safety” is well organized and effectively delivered, and to carry out thorough mobilization efforts, our company responded promptly by organizing employees to watch the “First Lesson on Work Safety” together through meetings and by viewing relevant videos.
2 On the 7th, the first workday after the Spring Festival, in accordance with requirements from the provincial and municipal authorities, all enterprises resuming operations are required to organize a “First Lesson on Work Safety,” led by the company’s top executive and attended by all employees, thereby steadily promoting stable employment and resumption of work. To ensure that the “First Lesson on Work Safety” is well organized and effectively delivered, and to carry out thorough mobilization efforts, our company has actively responded by organizing employees to watch the “First Lesson on Work Safety” together through meetings and by viewing relevant videos.
The meeting was chaired by Zhang Baoguo, the company’s General Manager. With the theme “Enhancing Safety Awareness and Safeguarding Life Safety,” the session focused on why safety should be the very first priority after work begins, what role it plays, and how it can be effectively implemented in light of our company’s specific circumstances.
The course content comprises two main parts: enhancing safety awareness and truly putting safety at heart, as well as strengthening measures to ensure that safety is genuinely translated into action. It includes both an introduction to the critical importance of safe production and the significance of delivering the “first lesson on safety” at the start of each project, as well as detailed guidance on what to cover and how to deliver this “first lesson on safety.” The course closely integrates relevant laws and regulations on safe production with real-life case studies, providing a comprehensive analysis of accident causes and offering strong guidance for enterprises in ensuring safe production. Upon completion of the course, all employees are required to carefully study and understand the material, enhance their safety awareness, foster a robust safety culture within the company, and effectively implement safety measures. The specific implementation process includes:
1. We have developed a work plan for safe production during the resumption of business and work, clearly defining job responsibilities and specific tasks to ensure an orderly resumption of operations.
II. We have signed the “Safety Production Target Responsibility Letter” covering all employees, further clarifying responsibilities for safety production.
III. All employees received the first-day safety training, during which they watched videos on topics such as forklifts, grinding machines, and electrical usage. This training helped employees recognize common hazards in their daily work environments and learn effective preventive measures, ensuring strict adherence to safe operating procedures.
4. The Safety Production Leading Group, led by Yang Chao, conducted a comprehensive safety inspection and hazard identification exercise in the workshop, covering aspects such as electricity, gas, and the working environment. Each identified issue was meticulously recorded, resulting in four lists of hazards. The responsible persons for rectifying these hazards were clearly designated, and the rectification work was completed within the specified time frame.
5. The persons in charge of each position conducted no-load trials and maintenance checks on the production equipment before operation to ensure its normal use.
6. Detailed deployment and training were conducted for epidemic prevention and control as well as for returning workers from outside the region.
By conducting the “First Lesson After Start of Work” activity, all employees have firmly tightened their safety awareness and reinforced their sense of responsibility. Together, they pledged to ensure that in their daily work, responsibilities are fully implemented, risk controls are robustly enforced, potential hazards are eliminated without any blind spots, and safety inspections leave no room for hidden dangers. Through concrete actions, they will safeguard the safe and stable operation of production and business, thereby providing strong support for the smooth implementation of all tasks in the company’s new year.
