While we’re improving both the output and quality of wood crushers, we’re also working to reduce costs. To increase the output of wood crushers: ensure that the feed rate is consistent—too fast or too slow can easily lead to crusher blockages or high no-load rates. During the crushing process, wood crushers tend to generate significant waste due to the fine particle size of the resulting wood powder; this waste is a major factor contributing to lower output.
While we’re improving the output and quality of wood shredders, we’re also reducing costs. To increase the output of wood shredders: ensure that the feed rate is consistent. A feed rate that’s too fast or too slow can easily lead to clogging of the shredder or result in a high no-load rate. During the wood-shredding process, because the resulting wood powder has a high degree of fineness, it’s very easy to generate substantial waste—waste that is one of the primary reasons for reduced output.

The choice of material type for crushing: Brittle materials are easier to crush than hard materials, and materials with low fiber content are easier to crush than those with high fiber content. Regarding moisture content, materials with lower moisture levels are relatively easier to crush, whereas materials with higher moisture levels become increasingly difficult to crush. For example, when the moisture content of logs increases from 13% to 14.5%, the output will decrease by 20%. Therefore, the moisture content of crushed materials should ideally be below 13%. Moreover, from a storage perspective, it is also advisable for the moisture content of crushed materials to be below 13%.
Under otherwise identical conditions, high-quality blades cut more thoroughly, are more efficient, and have a longer service life. In contrast, low-quality blades, when subjected to prolonged high-intensity operation, will heat up, soften, and deform, thereby significantly reducing the wood shredder’s crushing capacity.
