In disc crushers, the stationary and rotating grinding discs primarily perform the crushing function on the material and bear the impact forces exerted by the material. As a result, they are prone to wear and damage, placing high demands on their hardness, wear resistance, and impact resistance. Moreover, given the relatively high operating temperatures—often reaching over 150°C or even higher during continuous operation—they must also exhibit excellent thermal conductivity.
In a disc crusher, the stationary and rotating grinding discs primarily perform the crushing function on the material and bear the impact forces exerted by the material. As a result, they are prone to wear and damage, placing high demands on their hardness, wear resistance, and impact resistance. Moreover, given the relatively high operating temperatures—often rising above 150°C or even higher during continuous operation—the discs must also exhibit excellent thermal conductivity.

Therefore, the manufacturing process of grinding discs has high requirements. In particular, the firmness with which alloy grinding heads and blocks are embedded, their ability to withstand impact dynamic loads, their suitability for high-temperature working environments, and their wear resistance will all be key factors determining the quality and service life of the grinding disc—and also one of the primary factors influencing the operational performance of disc crushers.
After the motor starts, power is transmitted to the pulley via a V-belt, causing the main shaft to rotate. This rotation induces relative motion between the moving grinding disc and the fixed grinding disc, generating a squeezing and grinding action that crushes the material fed into the center of the grinding discs. The particle size of the discharged material can be controlled by adjusting the gap between the grinding discs using the large and small handwheels and the main shaft.
The body, end cover, and top cover together form a working chamber in which the material is crushed. The material is fed into the chamber through the feeding port located above the end cover, where it enters the space between the two grinding discs. Under the combined action of compression and friction, the material is pulverized. The crushed sample then flows out from the gap between the two grinding discs and falls into the hopper below. This machine features stable performance, low noise, and easy cleaning.
