Speaking of biomass crushers, I’m sure most of you are already familiar with them. Nowadays, biomass crushers have become widely adopted across many industries. However, after using them for a while, if we fail to clean or maintain the biomass crusher regularly, problems are bound to arise during future use. Let’s take a look together at several dust-control methods for biomass crushers!

Speaking of biomass crushers, I’m sure most of you are already familiar with them. Nowadays, biomass crushers have become widely adopted across numerous industries. However, after using them for a while, if we fail to clean or maintain the biomass crusher regularly, problems are bound to arise during future use. Let’s take a look together at several dust-control methods for biomass crushers!

Gravity dust removal is a dust removal method capable of handling coarse particles larger than 100 mm. In this process, dusty gas is introduced into a settling chamber by gravity, thereby reducing the gas flow rate and allowing particles to separate from the gas. Centrifugal dust removal relies on the centrifugal force generated by the rotational motion of the gas, which causes particles to settle along the outer wall. The inlet velocity of such equipment typically ranges from 10 to 20 m/s, enabling it to collect particles with diameters as small as 5 mm or less.

Inertial dust removal is suitable for separating particles larger than 5 mm from gases. This separation method requires baffles, which cause the dusty gas to collide with the baffle of the dust collector. Due to inertia, the particles are retained. To prevent scattering caused by collisions, it’s essential not to use a high gas flow rate.
