The maintenance and upkeep of a tree root shredder involve attention to many aspects—not only during its downtime, but also when we’re not actively working. Generally speaking, these practices are akin to our usual precautions. During operation, the stability of the tree root shredder is extremely important. The ground on which the machine operates must be properly hardened, and anchor bolts should be installed. It’s crucial to ensure that the pulleys of the machine and those of the electric motor are aligned on the same plane. To guarantee operational stability, we must also pay close attention to the tension of the belt pulleys.

Generally speaking, these practices are akin to our usual precautions. During operation, the stability of the tree root shredder is extremely important. The ground on which the machine operates must be properly hardened, and anchor bolts should be installed. It’s crucial to ensure that the pulleys of the machine and those of the electric motor are aligned on the same plane. To guarantee operational stability, we must also pay close attention to the tension of the belt pulleys.
Lubricate with smooth grease on time—every 8 hours, the bearings of the root shredder must be lubricated once. The amount of lubricant added should neither be too much nor too little; ideally, the quantity should be sufficient to be visible in the lubrication cup yet not spill out. For other moving transmission components, lubrication is typically applied once per day—simply add lubricant after finishing daily operations and cleaning out any residual root material remaining inside the machine. Do not adjust the rotational speed of the root shredder arbitrarily. Users must not increase or decrease the machine’s speed by changing the motor or pulleys. The actual operating speed we specify must not deviate from the rated speed by more than 10%; otherwise, not only will it fail to improve the machine’s output, but it will also significantly shorten the machine’s service life.
Do not disassemble the machine’s blades or other internal components at random, as improper handling could lead to new malfunctions. If the root shredder malfunctions, promptly contact our factory’s technical staff to prevent irreversible damage to personnel. After the root shredder has finished operating, promptly remove any remaining materials and inspect the blades as well as the condition of all screws and fasteners to avoid malfunctions when the machine is started up again.
