FD1300 Disc Wood Chipper

The new disc chipper is widely used in preparation workshops of wood fiberboard plants, pulp mills, paper mills, and other facilities for producing wood chips. Its key feature is its ability to produce clean, high-quality wood chips.
The disc chipper is used to shred branches and logs with diameters of up to 300 millimeters, as well as bark sheets and offcuts from rotary peelers, provided their widths do not exceed 160–180 millimeters. After being processed by the chipper, these various materials are transformed into wood chips of specified dimensions, which serve as raw materials for producing fiberboard, pulp, and other products. According to customer requirements, the chipper can be custom-made in either an upper-discharge or a lower-discharge configuration. It can also be equipped with a diesel engine for power transmission.
Working principle of the disc chipper: Wood materials are fed into the machine through the feed inlet. As the wood comes into contact with the cutting blades, it is shredded as the cutting disc rotates at high speed. The resulting wood chips are then expelled from the chipping chamber by a high-speed airflow generated by the fan blades mounted on the cutting disc. Structural components: The machine mainly consists of a base, a feed inlet, a cutting disc, a housing, chip-cutting blades, and an electrical control system. This portable disc-type wood chipper can adjust the cutting blades as needed to produce wood chips of various sizes and thicknesses.
