1 Machine Components: The machine consists of a base, upper and lower feeding rollers, chain plates or belt conveyors, a knife roller, a comb-tooth plate and bottom knife, a screen mesh, an electric motor, a hydraulic system, and an electrical control system, among other components.
2 Power Unit: Available in two types—electric motor and diesel engine. The mobile diesel-powered comprehensive crusher primarily uses a diesel engine as its power source, allowing it to be towed to outdoor work sites and eliminating the need for a fixed location, thus offering greater flexibility.
3 Principle of crushing: Flying knives or hammer heads are mounted on the knife roller and secured to it using specially manufactured high-strength bolts, which are held in place by pressure blocks. The raw material is then cut or crushed; the qualified wood chips pass through the mesh holes at the bottom of the knife roller onto a conveyor belt, where they are fed into a storage bin or sent to the next processing stage. Wood chips that do not meet the specified standards are re-cut until they reach the required quality.
4 Processing range: The comprehensive shredder is a specialized piece of equipment used for fuel storage in biomass power plants. It primarily processes various types of wood, small-diameter logs, wood harvesting residues (such as branches and twigs), and wood-processing residues (such as bark, lumber strips, log cores, and waste veneer). It can also shred non-woody materials, including hemp stalks, reeds, moso bamboo, corn stalks, and cotton stumps.
